Social Media has many advantages when it comes to marketing your business.

2. Easy interactions with your customers

There are some things to consider before starting your social media marketing campaigns.





Choosing Platforms

There are many platforms to choose from. The most common being Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Each has their own focus and Instagram and Facebook work together. I recommend for most business a combo of Facebook and Instagram. Instagram is photo based and posts can be cross posted to Facebook. Facebook is great for creating communities and building a base of followers.


Build a Community

Social media should not be approached as traditional marketing. Look for  customers who are interested, loyal and engaged. These people are more likely to repost your content, like your posts and become customers. When you build a community around your brand, the people within that community will engage with each other and help to promote your content. 


Provide Value

The most important thing you can do on social media is provide value. Create something that your audience will find useful. It could be something that tells them something they didn’t know before, makes them laugh, entertains them or anything else that’s beneficial in some way. 

Providing value is what attracts the right customers to your business, makes people want to follow you  and helps reach a larger audience for your brand.
